The Authors Multilingual Holiday Home Booking Platform

The Authors is a UAE-based hospitality brand offering distinctive holiday homes for guests seeking comfortable, thoughtfully designed accommodation.

To support its digital presence and direct-booking operations, the business needed more than a visually appealing website. It required a complete platform where guests could discover properties, explore accommodation details, check availability, and make reservations through a streamlined online experience.

Serving both English- and Arabic-speaking audiences introduced an additional requirement: the platform needed to provide an accessible, consistent multilingual experience without compromising usability.

Behind the scenes, the booking journey also had to connect multiple systems. Property availability and reservations needed to be coordinated with Guesty, payments processed through PayTabs, and booking-related emails handled through Resend.

The challenge was to bring these elements together into one cohesive experience while carefully managing payment outcomes, reservation states, and communication with guests.

ProDevX Solutions designed and developed The Authors' complete website and custom booking platform, bringing together property discovery, multilingual content, reservation management, online payments, and transactional email functionality.

A guest-focused website experience. We built a responsive website that presents The Authors' holiday home collection through clear navigation, property information, and booking entry points. The experience was designed to help visitors move naturally from discovering a property to making a reservation.

English and Arabic support. To accommodate the brand's diverse audience, we implemented multilingual functionality in English and Arabic. This enabled guests to browse the website in their preferred language.

Booking integration with Guesty. We integrated Guesty's property management API to connect the website's booking functionality with property availability and reservation operations. This enabled the custom booking experience to work alongside the client's existing hospitality management system.

Online payments with PayTabs. PayTabs was integrated into the reservation workflow to process online payments. We developed server-side payment handling, transaction verification, and callback processing to coordinate payment outcomes with booking states.

Transactional email with Resend. We integrated Resend to support booking-related transactional email communications.

Reservation lifecycle and reliability. Because booking platforms depend on multiple external services, we also developed supporting processes for reservation status verification, payment confirmation, and handling incomplete bookings.

During development, we addressed payment callback routing issues and implemented additional handling for delayed reservation updates and stale reservation holds.

The completed application brings together the guest-facing website and the operational services supporting direct reservations.

The Authors now has a live multilingual website and direct-booking platform supporting its hospitality business in the United Arab Emirates.

The platform brings together property discovery, English and Arabic language support, reservations through Guesty, online payments through PayTabs, and transactional email functionality powered by Resend.

Guests can explore accommodation options and proceed through a connected booking journey, while the underlying integrations coordinate reservation and payment information with the relevant services.
